Well, I'm not gonna lie.. I completely forgot to review these bad boys!

I purchased these two JSC Skin Frost highlighters a couple of months ago, around the time I was doing A LOT of online shopping for new makeup products, and when I got these I tried them out, swatched them, fell in love at first sight & then poof! Gone in the depths of my makeup organiser..

Well I was playing around with makeup the other day & the look just called for that Peach Goddess glow so I pulled that out again & realised I haven't really talked to you guys about them!

At the time, Jeffree released 4 Skin Frosts - Ice Cold, Peach Goddess, King Tut & Mint Condition Four unique shades for different skin tones & personalities ;)
But keep an eye out for Jeffree, he's working on some bomb sh*t & will soon add more shades to the Skin Frost collection including a Lavender, deeper Gold & I heard a rumour of a Black one for Halloween?! I can't wait to see how that goes down & what looks people come up with!

There's a few reasons why I adore Jeffrees products - he knows quality & tests his products a million times over before selling them to us, everything is cruelty free & vegan, he knows what it's like when you can't afford something so made his highlighters massive & totally worth every cent, his killer style & flare for presentation because like every makeup junkie - he loves good packaging! And there's more but lets talk about these babies & how they'll have you glowing for the gaaawwds hunnay!

Packaging -  as I mentioned above, JS has his own unique style & these barbie pink compacts scream Jeffree Star, they're a thick solid plastic & have a good high-quality mirror inside. Not only that but these are fricken HUGE! A generous amount of 15g/0.53oz for $29 USD, about 5g more than a MAC skinfinsish & more affordable being $4 cheaper! These are also super pigmented so you only need a light hand (depending on how you like your glow) & one of these compacts will last you YEARS! But because there's so much product, these also work great as eyeshadow & all over body shimmer for the summer. Try using them wet for a super intense glow! Remember these are completely Vegan, Cruelty Free, Talc, Paraben & Gluten Free

PEACH GODDESS
A stunning bellini shade that has a Peachy/Pink base with an intense champagne shimmer! It looks a lot deeper in the pan, but once on the face it's so reflective that it just bounces off light creating a delicious peach champagne glow! It works fantastic as a Blush topper

ICE COLD
An intense pure white, it's actually hard to describe this shade because it's not just white, it has pearly shimmer, very very pale champagne but also cool silver tones. This is a perfect highlight for fair skinned beauties or on the highest points of your cheekbones on top of a less intense highlight, this adds the right amount for that eye-blinding glow!

I have just a couple of little things I wanted to mention.. Ice Cold is SO intense & so pale in colour that it can almost be too much.. I love a good glow as much as the next beauty babe but this one can make your skin look more textured than it is & sometimes there's the odd chunk of glitter sitting on my cheek... But Peach Goddess is the perfect texture & effect, not glittery just a smooth shimmer, but is a little too dark for some.. I'd Love to see Jeffree come out with a pale golden shade, like a mix of Ice Cold & King Tut? I know it's probably a little too plain for him but I would die for a champagne gold in one of his massive compacts & I'd probably use it on my eyes everyday as well so please Jeffree! Hear my calls for more pale girl glows! Haha



P.S. Please no comments about your opinion on Jeffree Star as a person, I LOVE makeup & his makeup just happens to be bomb! I don't care about the drama, I just want to continue loving & trying products brands create & talking about them to you guys! Spread Positivity & Love for Makeup!

I missed out on the first release of this palette, it sold out so fast! But thankfully Jeffree restocks all the time & had more a few days later.. I placed my order & it took around 10 days to arrive to NZ :) I couldn't wait to play with this baby & try different colour combinations! But first - that packaging though?!? Ugh I love everything about Jeffrees packaging choices! His liquid lips are dressed in Hot Pink & Rose Gold and of course this palette follows suit with the outside box, but the palette itself is an adorable baby pink with gold edging & "Beauty Killer" in black calligraphy - LOVE! And one thing I love about Jeffree & his products, he knows what we want! Value for Money? Yes Ma'am, these eyeshadows are huge! Each pan has 0.09oz/2.52g of product which is a very generous size

In comparison - MAC singles 0.04oz/1.3g, Makeup Geek 0.064oz/1.8g, ABH singles 0.05oz/1.4g, Sugarpill 0.12oz/3.4g, KvD Metal Crush 0.10oz/2.8g

And Pigmetation? Another Yes Ma'am! You can see for yourself in the swatches below, these are some super pigmented shadows! Very buttery with extreme colour payoff in one swipe, but you will notice when using them there is some shadow fallout, which (let's be real) will always be the case with pigmented buttery shadows, other wise it becomes patchy & dry on the lid.. And these however blend like an absolute dream alone or with each other

Star Power gives a pop of Jeffree realness in this Matte Hot Pink shade. This shade stained my hand it's so pigmented but don't fear, it won't stain your eyelids! Princess is a light Lavender/Lilac with an intense Silver shimmer. Violence is a shimmery pink based Violet, I've heard people say it's not a very pigmented Purple but it's true to colour in pan & has a consistent buttery texture. Rich Bitch is a glitter packed true Gold, I found this shade hard to apply unless using a wet brush, the texture is kind of chunky but swatches nice. Courtney is the perfect warm brown transition shade for the crease, the texture is so buttery it literally blends with 3 swipes of your brush. Expensive is the shade the made me get this palette, that crisp Teal Blue with diamond looking glitter, it looks "Expensive"! Nicely pigmented & creamy texture, it doesn't apply as shimmery on the lid unless using a wet brush. Confession is beautiful! A rusty Burgundy Red shade with intense shimmer, the same consistency as "Princess"& "Violence". Vanity is another matte shade, this pigmented cool-toned blackened plum is so pretty but I thought it was a little dry/patchy compared to the other mattes in this palette, but nothing major it just takes a few more swipes to blend. China Doll is a creamy off-white Matte perfect for all over the lid as a powder base, this shade is so buttery! The same consistency as "Courtney". Black Rainbow..omg I LOVE this shade! A Matte Black base with Rainbow glitters throughout. The glitters don't really show up when used dry, so you can have a matte black look or wet your brush and experience the rainbow glitter goodness!

If you ever had a thought of getting this palette, I definitely think you should! It's well worth the money and the investment, I guarantee you will love this palette and if you can't think of any looks using the colours, try some of these..

I am not ashamed to say, for this Limited Edition* Matte Lipstick, I jumped through hoops to purchase this baby. Waited hours for the countdown, asked multiple people what time it would be in NZ (got multiple different answers), the rush through the checkout, but $18usd later she was mine!

 I remember being in highschool & listening to "Plastic Surgery Slumber Party" by Jeffree & thinking he was just the coolest, carefree person! So to hear he had a new cosmetic line..well I HAD to try!
The website quickly sold out of every colour available, proving how popular he was.

A brand with similar Velour Lipsticks, Lime Crime with "Velvetines", recently had a security breech on their site & many customers are left feeling unsafe purchasing any more after loosing their credit card details, (but you can read more about that if you search on Google)
Jeffree Star had perfect timing for his range to become available! 
We now have a beautifully packaged, trustworthy & quality alternative to turn to!
My First Impression:
Ok, I will be honest here, when applied to clean, exfoliated lips..It was wish-washy, streaky & kind of ..dissapointing..
I applied NYX Butter Lipstick "Lollies" on top & it looked stunning! So I went with it..
But the next day, I was determined to make (714) work on its own, 
I applied - let it dry - applied - let it dry & applied again...

Perfect opaque Neon pastel peach.

So I am now on a mission to get "Celebrity Skin" (soft brown nude) to replace my Cashmere Velvetine from Lime Crime, can't wait for restock in April! 

This product was $18 USD with $10 USD International shipping to NZ
